Next week - June 4-9, 2011, Montana State University in Bozeman will host the seventh annual
Astrobiology Graduate Student Conference (AbGradCon). This annual conference originally began as an ancillary meeting for young scientists attending the biannual
Astrobiology Science Conference (AbSciCon), but it has now grown into a full fledged independent event. AbGradCon is a fantastic conference, bringing together the nascent and vibrant field of astrobiology with the excitement and energy of young scientists. If you really want to understand what's going on in the scientific trenches, talks by graduate students and postdocs are the way to go. It looks like
