Exciting news everyone! The New Server should be here on the 15th—one week from today (get excited). That means that SETI@Home will likely be back up within the month.

There was a switch that died this weekend that brought the BOINC website down for a couple of days there, but it’s back up and working now.

You may have noticed right now that SETI@Home is down. Everything when down this weekend.

The group meeting was short today, mostly because everyone is still in proposal crunch-time mode—that means working hard writing proposals to get funding new, exciting SETI projects in the next year. Check this space for updates as to what new stuff will be going on in the upcoming year.
