Main Team News: Dave is working on fixing the slowdowns BOINC is sometimes giving youtube. Eric is addressing an error in Astropulse applications which duplicates signals. Matt is looking into automatic shutdown for database servers because temperature control has been an issue.

AbSciCon 2010 Update

Late last week, the Lunar and Planetary Sciences Institute posted a preliminary program for AbSciCon 2010 (the 2010 Astrobiology Science Conference), including links to abstracts.

SETI@home is looking for graduate and undergraduate students to work

Eric is trying to steer database management away from Informix and
toward MySQL. He says this will facilitate data replication and smooth
out the learning curve for working with the database.
